Jalapeno Popper Chicken


 Here's a recipe for Jalapeño Popper Chicken:

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped pickled jalapeños
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish large enough to hold the chicken breasts in a single layer.

  2. Use a sharp knife to cut a pocket into the side of each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through. Season the inside and outside of each chicken breast with salt and pepper.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped pickled jalapeños, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix until well combined.

  4. Stuff each chicken breast with the jalapeño popper filling, dividing it evenly among the chicken breasts. Secure the openings with toothpicks if needed.

  5. Place the stuffed chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Brush the tops of the chicken breasts with olive oil.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

  7. Once done, remove the toothpicks from the chicken breasts before serving.

  8. Serve your Jalapeño Popper Chicken hot, either on its own or with a side salad or roasted vegetables. Enjoy the spicy and cheesy goodness!

Feel free to adjust the amount of jalapeños according to your preferred level of spiciness. You can also add additional shredded cheese on top of the chicken breasts during the last few minutes of baking for extra cheesiness.
