Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken: 

Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Marinate the Chicken (optional):

 In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, dried herbs (if using), and lemon juice (if using). Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them.  Once the grill is hot, place the chicken breasts on the grill grates. Grill for 6-8 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Use tongs to carefully flip the chicken halfway through cooking.

Rest and Serve:

 Once the chicken is cooked through, remove it from the grill and transfer it to a clean plate. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving to allow the juices to redistribute. Garnish with fresh herbs, if desired, and serve hot.
