Instructions:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken breasts to the skillet.
Cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter. Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
Pour in the chicken broth and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir well, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet for extra flavor.
Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over them.
Allow the chicken to heat through in the sauce for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring it's coated well.
Once done, remove the skillet from the heat.
Garnish the Garlic Butter Chicken with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
Serve hot with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables. Enjoy your flavorful and aromatic Garlic Butter Chicken!
