Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken:

 Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Chicken:

Return the Chicken to the Skillet:

 Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, turning them to coat in the balsamic sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to heat through and absorb the flavors of the sauce.

Garnish and Serve:

 Garnish the balsamic chicken with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Serve hot, with the sauce spooned over the chicken.
