Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken and broccoli florets. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in the chicken broth, heavy cream, cream cheese, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, until the cream cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
Pour the cheese sauce over the chicken and broccoli in the baking dish, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the casserole. Then, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired, and serve hot.
